The LBS FireGuard TM75 is designed for smaller openings like serving hatches, schools, receptions, warehouses, and food prep areas. This solid steel roller shutter is designed to provide up to a 4-hour integrity rating and has been tested & approved to BS476: part 22:1987 and BS EN 1634-1:2008.
Our system incorporates a mains-failsafe, a mandatory feature for fire-rated doors, shutters, and hatches. In case of power failure, the independent UPS battery backup will ensure the shutter closes, providing an additional layer of safety.
The shutter comes with a traditionally curved 3-inch solid steel lath and a tubular motor, making it the ideal solution for day-to-day security needs over counters and serving hatches.
For projects requiring larger openings, please consider our LBS FireGuard FM75.

Electrically operated shutter, operated via an integral tubular motor with UPS battery backup under controlled descent, also featuring a removable hand-crank for manual operation in case of a power failure.
A fire relay is included, designed to be linked to the fire alarm system (by others) using a volt-free signal. In response to an incoming fire alarm signal, the door will initiate powered descent and close securely.
Additionally, there is an option for a Fire control panel, which offers timed delay functionality and provides audio and visual warnings. It becomes active upon receiving a fire alarm signal (volt free). When triggered by the fire alarm, the unit begins flashing and emitting an audible warning. The shutter then closes after a predetermined delay, ranging from 10 to 240 seconds. For individuals with hearing difficulties, a repeated visual unit can be positioned on the opposite side of the opening to ensure comprehensive safety measures.
These shutters adhere to the standards outlined in LPS 1056: Issue 5, encompassing the requirements and tests for fire doors, lift landing doors, and shutters. Rigorous testing ensures that the shutters close and reset as expected, leaving them in working order and ready for action. A Certificate of Conformity is provided to validate their quality and compliance.
These fire-resistant shutters boast an exceptional 4-hour fire resistance rating, adhering to the harmonised technical specification EN 16034:2014. They are meticulously crafted in accordance with BS EN 13241-1:201+A1 standards and proudly bear the CE mark, signifying their top-notch quality and compliance.
