LBS Group supplied and installed a car park shutter with 20g laths complete with 150mm punched slots in northwest London.
The shutter is operated via a 415-volt three-phase motor, with a manual override via hand chain and a control panel with push buttons to open and auto-timed closing after a preset time. Additionally, the shutter operates with a radio-controlled fob transmitter and a TS981 access control system. The installation includes a mandatory safety brake, low-level obstruction protection, loop detectors, and two sets of high-level anti-crushing photocells, complete with a side infill panel comprised of an angle frame and matching punched lath infill.
This type of shutter is perfect for large car park spaces where ventilation is essential whilst protecting from vandalism and theft. The 415-volt three-phase motor guarantees a no-fail frequent operation of the shutter, ensuring all personnel who wish to enter and exit without trouble or issue.
Externally, entrants can obtain access to the car via radio-controlled fob transmitters, and those who want to leave can do so with a control panel featuring internal push buttons which open the shutter and will close after that via a preset automated time, and this can be set to a time that is sufficient when factoring the distance between the control panel and the exit, and the varying vehicle sizes. To allow for extra ventilation, we installed two adjacent infill panels, powder coated to the same colour as the stunning Car Park Shutter. In addition, all our steelwork can be powder coated to a wide range of colours that suit the surroundings.
