High Security Roller Shutters at Tate Modern

LBS have provided compliant Fire & Security doors and shutters to the Tate Modern including the Switch House & Turbine Hall.

Part of the group of galleries known as Tate is Britain’s national gallery of international modern art and forms, it holds the national collection of British art from 1900 to the present day and international modern and contemporary art and is one of the largest museums of modern and contemporary art in the world.

Working with Mace, Lee Warren Fabrication & Design, Beck Interiors and Architects Herzog & De Meuron, LBS have installed;

  • High security rolling shutters
  • Automatic Fire Curtains
  • Fire rated rolling shutters, some with 22dB sound reduction
  • 15 Steel hinged door-sets and Secure Louvred doors

LBS continue their relationship with the Tate by providing regular planned preventative maintenance to ensure that all products continue to work satisfactorily.
